What Should I Bring?

A Bible, a light sweater or jacket, and your spouse.  You will be provided with all necessary learning materials during the conference. Depending on which event you are attending you will need to bring seasonally appropriate clothing. Also, if the particular venue features a pool, a bathing suit might also be a good idea.  The event is casual. Date night is also casual, but feel free to dress up for your special date, if you like.

What can I expect from the conference sessions?

The conference sessions will include a time of worship led by Russell and Kristi, along with teaching, discussion and prayer. All of these elements help us to focus on Jesus Christ and bring our hearts closer to him. The conference is proud to host teachers with years of experience in marriage ministry and who have worked with innumerable couples to build, rebuild and improve their marriages.

Do I have to stay at the event site?

This varies based on the event you may be attending – While it’s not required to stay at the event site, it is strongly recommended to get the maximum benefit from the marriage weekend. The planning team will arrange for a special rate with the facility hosting the weekend.

Is childcare available?

We are unable to provide childcare during the conference program.  As a courtesy to other participants, please make prior arrangements.
